West Bengal govt. invites WB Snehaloy Housing Scheme application / registration form, apply online to get Rs. 1.20 for new house construction, EWS category people who don't qualify for Bangla Awas Yoj
West Bengal government has announced a new Snehaloy Housing Scheme 2020-21 for poor people. In this scheme, the WB state govt. will provide Rs. 1.20 lakh as financial assistance to build new homes. The WB Snehaloy Housing Scheme is for those economically backward people who doesn’t qualify for the state government’s present housing scheme Bangle Awas Yojana. People can now read guidelines, check apply online process and fill Snehaloy Housing Scheme Online Application / Registration Form to avail assistance.
In the WB Snehaloy Housing Scheme 2020-21, the entire amount of assistance would be borne by the state government. There are 25,000 people from economically weaker sections (EWS) category who does not have their own houses. They had telephoned the chief minister’s grievance cell requesting for a house to live in as they are not entitled for Bangle Awas Yojana.
So, the state govt. led by Mamata Banerjee has decided to start Snehaloy Housing Scheme 2020-21 in West Bengal. People can then apply online for new housing scheme and avail assistance to build new homes.
Eligibility for Snehaloy Housing Scheme
The basic eligibility criteria for the Snehaloy Housing Scheme is that the applicant should belong to the Economically Weaker Section of the Society should not already own a house anywhere in the state.
The detailed eligibility criteria for the new housing scheme in West Bengal is not yet available. However, it will be available as soon as the official portal for the scheme is launched and the applications begins.

As a mark of the official launch of the scheme, the CM Mamata Banerjee (Didi) has handed out the cheques and certificates to large number of people. This Snehaloy housing scheme is launched in run-up to state wide civic polls which would be held next month. These polls are semi-finals to state assembly elections to be held in 2021.
